Andy Hennier – Attorney – HealthCare Reform Specialist
Andy joined Hallier Reed in October of 2011 after nearly 20 years of practicing law. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School and spent the majority of his career practicing in insurance defense litigation and bankruptcy law. He served as president of the Kansas Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency Section and was a contributing author to the Johnson County Barletter. Andy brings expertise on contractual matters as well as issues surrounding Health Care Reform legislation. Andy recently became one of only six agents in Missouri and Kansas in 2014 to be certified by The National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) professional development course on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Andy is also a licensed life and health producer and assists with myriad client service issues and rate negotiations. While relatively new to the benefits arena, Andy brings a unique and fresh perspective from his experiences as a practicing attorney.
